Today is Day Eleven for nearly 21,000 CenterPoint customers who still don't have power since Hurricane Beryl struck. The company is trying to spin this by putting out a release saying they have restored electricity to 98% of those that went dark during the storm.

- Three Houston area residents have filed suit against CenterPoint, seeking reimbursement for things like spoiled food.
- On a positive note, beaches in Galveston have re-opened.
- A local television station crunched the numbers, and says that there have been six years in which multiple hurricanes tracked through Texas, the last one being 2008.
