As prominent Democrats behind the scenes try to figure out a way to get Joe Biden to step down, there are some reasons why time may actually be on Biden's side.
"It's important now to add a 4th reason, and that of course is the assassination attempt of Donald Trump" said John Bennett, White House reporter for Roll Call, "So, the Democrats it looks like are standing down for now at least, but they longer they stand down plays into this calendar issue."
Add to that the fact that Biden is doing more interviews, addressing the nation, and heading back out on the campaign trail, the Dems may have missed their window and waited too long.
"Really, it comes down to Biden, if he doesn't lose too many big dollar donors, he can run out the clock and get to the Democratic National Convention" Bennett told KTRH.
The DNC Convention is set for a little over a month away in Chicago.
In the meantime, there are also new reports that the Democrats plan to replace Biden before November, is now over. We shall see.
