Republicans have gathered in the battleground state of Wisconsin for their convention, which kicks off today in Milwaukee.
Unlike past conventions, Committeeman Robin Armstrong says this time, Republicans are united behind Donald Trump, who accepts the nomination Thursday night.
"We are very focused on electing Donald Trump as President," Armstrong told KTRH from Milwaukee.
On the other hand, there are the Democrats, who are split between Biden, and someone else, as their nominee.
"Biden just gave a press conference; half the party says it was great while the other half says it was a disaster," Armstrong stated.
The GOP picked Wisconsin over cities like Houston for a reason. That state is a key swing state. Trump officially lost Wisconsin in 2020, but leads Biden by five points in the latest polling there.
