Texas Governor Greg Abbott joined KTRH's Sean Hannity on Fox yesterday to respond to Joe Biden's recent executive action on the border crisis. Needless to say, the Governor was not impressed with President Biden's efforts.
Biden's executive order, rather than closing the border, actually allows up to 2,500 illegal aliens to enter the country daily. Only when that number is exceeded for a full week would the border be closed. It would also allow an additional 1,500 illegal aliens to enter daily by making use of the CBP One App.
Gov. Abbott doesn't think this new executive order will help the situation at the border at all. He said, "What Biden did today was actually entice more people to come to our border. To increase illegal immigration, not to stop it."
Abbott says that no matter what the Biden administration tries to do, Texas will not back down from its efforts to secure the border itself.
