We saw this happen a lot during Covid, and now another Katy ISD board member is being bullied by the left, simply for asking the question - how many illegals are currently enrolled in the school district?
Since then, Trustee Morgan Calhoun has been attacked not only on social media, but also by the local media as well.
"I did not say that we should track illegal immigrants or illegal immigrant children" Calhoun said, "They have a story they want to go with, and I would just hope that people would actually go listen to the actual proceedings it's not long, it's only about a :4 minute conversation, so they can see for themselves what was actually said."
School districts can't ask about immigration status, but considering that over 12 million illegals have been allowed into the U.S. under the Biden administration, maybe it's time to revisit that legislation.
"It's a question that's not allowed to be asked" Calhoun told KTRH, "This isn't the CIA, we should be able to ask the question and allow taxpayers to know where their money is going."
And you should be able to do so without getting attacked or bullied on-line.
"There are people on different social media applications and platforms that really get excited about attacking conservatives" noted Calhoun, "Lions do not lose sleep, over the opinions of sheep, and I am not going to lose sleep over people getting upset about me asking a question that is valid and fair."
It's a question that may need to be answered next in Austin.
