Another day, and another attempt by radical anti-Israel protestors to disrupt college campuses, even in Texas.
The latest, radicals approached this afternoon shortly after 4pm and tried to set up a pro-Palestine encampment at UT Dallas. But law enforcement quickly took it down, and so far 17 arrests have been made.
They were taken to the Collin County Jail. It is unknown at this time how many of those taken into custody are students.
Texas DPS and police then surrounded the area around what is left of the encampment, with Collin County Sheriff's, Richardson police and UT Dallas police among the law enforcement groups in the area.
Facilities vehicles packed up the tents and other items from the encampment.
This is a developing story.
