We had flash flooding in the Houston area overnight Saturday.
The National Weather Service issues an overnight flood watch for Madison, Houston, Trinity, Walker, San Jacinto, Polk, Burleson, Brazos, Washington, Grimes, Montgomery Colorado and Waller counties.
The highest threat of street flooding is areas north of I-10 and west of I-45.
The system has been moving fast enough to keep street flooding minimal but do watch for standing and ponding water in low-lying areas.
Most areas of Houston picked up an average of half-an-inch of accumulation.
The lingering scattered showers should move out by 9 this morning.
