With the help of his elite friends in the Democratic Party, as well as coastal high rollers and celebrities, Biden continues to expand the fundraising gap between himself and former President Trump. Biden managed to bring in a whopping $26 million at his event in New York City while Trump was attending the wake of murdered NYPD officer Jonathan Diller.
Political strategist Brendan Steinhauser told KTRH that this is proof that Biden continues to get his money from the same places he and other left-wingers have always gotten their money: the Democratic establishment and the coastal elites.
Despite the undeniable noteworthy fundraising of Biden, Steinhauser says it may not be enough to win him the election. He said, "Biden's already got poor numbers nationally. His approval numbers are very low. And Trump already has enough support, and certainly 100% name ID."
He says in an election like this one, where both candidates are so well known and so many have already made up their minds, the amount of ads you can buy isn't as much of a factor. Steinhauser also noted that Trump already gets so much free press coverage, so he doesn't need to spend as much money to spread his message.
