South Carolina is Trump Country.
Former President Donald Trump, as expected, won the South Carolina GOP Presidential primary in a blowout over the former Governor of the Palmetto State, Nikki Haley.
The race was called by Fox News just two minutes after the polls closed.
The early returns had Trump beating Haley by nearly 30 percentage points, a bigger than expected margin in many polls, and in line with the CBS News polling that showed at 35 point gap between the two candidates.
Despite the bad numbers, Haley, Trump's former UN Ambassador, has said she will not drop out of the race, vowing to stay in it through Michigan, Super Tuesday, and until every vote is counted.
Texas is part of the Super Tuesday slate, with Trump leading in the polls by more than 75 percentage points, according to polling done by U-H.
