More states are joining Texas' effort to secure the southern border. Twelve governors have now sent their personnel to the border or announced plans to do so. The Center for Immigration Studies' Todd Bensman tells KTRH that these governors have legitimate concerns about the border.

Many of them have seen large illegal populations settle in their states, and that's costing them a lot of money. Bensman also said that this massive multi-state effort to secure the border is proof that Biden doesn't need more legislation. He said, "The Biden Administration has total authority right now to put a 100% stop on every single person that they catch." He said he feels bad for those who believe the lie that Congress needs to step in here.

So far, the states that have sent personnel are Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, North Dakota, Utah, Idaho, and Missouri.
