Countries around the world have reduced their oil production, and that may lead to a shortage by the end of 2025. Between the Russia-Ukraine war, the conflict in Israel, and Middle Eastern nations cutting down on supply, the world's supply of oil is dwindling. The United States could be filling that supply gap, but instead, it's being left wide open.

KTRH spoke to energy expert Phil Flynn, who said, "We could be controlling the energy narrative around the world." Flynn believes America could become the world's biggest producer of energy and gas, but to achieve that, the American government needs to collaborate with the oil industry, not oppose it.

"I would go to the oil industry and say, 'Hey guys, I know you can do better. If we work with you, can we avoid this crisis?'"

He asserts that our current regulatory environment is hindering American production and contributing to this impending crisis.
