Since new years day we have seen the record immigration begin to drop as Joe Biden begins to realize that the border is a loosing issue for him. According to the Center for Immigrations Studies Senior Fellow Todd Bensman, "Poll after poll show that high percentages of the American public, including democrats, cannot stand what's going on at the border."
He also says that Biden and Mexican president Obrador know that slowing immigration helps them politically, but there's no guarantee that Mexico's efforts to keep immigrants away from their northern border will be effective.

"It may be a matter of weeks, or months, but eventually, most of them are going to end up crossing the border anyway."

Both Mexico and the United States have elections this year, and immigration is expected to be a major issue for both nations.
