Former President Donald Trump is wrapping up a two day fundraising trip to Texas here in Houston today. The tour started in Dallas yesterday.
Despite the four trials he's facing, and despite the constant attacks from the mainstream media, RNC Committeeman Dr. Robin Armstrong says Texas is still Trump Country.
"Texans are frustrated with all of these prosecutions that are taking place. It's almost drawn them to him more," Armstrong said.
He adds that Texans miss the winning America had while Trump was President.
"People see that he was right on a lot of these issues. People are missing him. Texans are very, very galvanized behind the President," Armstrong explained.
Trump will speak this afternoon at the off-shore drilling company 'Trendsetter Engineering."
The campaign stop could impact traffic in the Tomball area this afternoon. TXDOT will close the northbound exit ramps on Highway 249 to Louetta and Spring-Cypress from 4:15 to 6:15.
