The feud between Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan and State Attorney General Ken Paxton shows no signs of slowing down.

As the House debated legislation to reduce down on illegal border crossings, Phelan ordered that Paxton be kicked out of the chamber.

Reports say that Paxton was invited by several members of the chamber. Conroe State Representative Steve Toth took to social media to blast Phelan for "doubling down on stupid."

Elsewhere, the House did give initial approval to a pair of border security bills, including one that appropriates $1.5 Billion for border wall construction. They also gave initial approval to a bill expanding the statewide ban on COVID vaccine mandates.
