We all know about the struggles that Republicans have had keeping up with early voting and ballot harvesting. And now the Democrats have added yet another play to get more votes.
It's called nonprofit voter registration.
"Part of the Democrat election machine is the use of these left-wing nonprofit groups" said Shawn Fleetwood, writer for The Federalist, "To register voters who are very favorable to Democrats."
So called 'underrepresented' groups like racial minorities, college educated women, and college students and young people. Once they are registered, the Dems can make sure their vote counts.
As for Republicans? They aren't really doing anything like the Democrats are, instead relying on their faithful base to vote on election day. Unfortunately, as we've seen in the last two elections, that strategy no longer works.
"We cannot afford to lose the 2024 presidential election" Fleetwood told KTRH, "We have to absolutely get our head in the game and look at the strategies that Democrats are engaging in, and if that means adopting some of those strategies in order to win, then I think we have to do that."
Republicans need to do something. Punting on voter registration is not an option.
