The left's leading of our nation into socialism, really shouldn't come as a surprise. It was actually predicted decades ago from former president, the late great Ronald Reagan.
Author Craig Shirley recently ran a story on FOX News titled, 'The 5 Ways Reagan Predicted The Future'. In it, Shirley notes that Reagan said way back in 1961, before he was governor, that government run healthcare would to socialism.
Jeffrey Lord, political writer and commentator who worked for Reagan at the White House, says he's not surprised.
"Yes, absolutely" Lord said, "He really had a knack for the that. He was a very, very thoughtful guy, and he had the ability to see where things were going. He didn't hesitate to put that kind of philosophy in action."
Then there was the 40th president's spot on warning that government run schools and education, would cut out parents, and ultimately hurt kids.
"Some of it came from his having once been, as he used to call it, a bleeding heart liberal" Lord told KTRH, "He understood where all this stuff could go eventually, whether you're talking education or medicine, he knew that the ultimate objective was control."
Which Reagan believed to the American people, which is completely the opposite from what we are witnessing today under the Biden administration.
