Should Abbott Expand Busing of Illegals to More Swing State Sanctuaries?

Texas continues to send busloads of illegals to sanctuary cities in mostly blue states, but some are asking why not more swing states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania ahead of the 2024 election?

"It doesn't really matter what states they're in. If they have declared themselves to be sanctuaries, then they should be in line to deal with the fallout and consequences of having large numbers of migrants show up," says Ira Mehlman, spokesperson for the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

"Given the fact the Biden administration refuses to close that border. It should be incumbent on all these local communities to start to feel some of the pain, and put pressure on the White House to do it."

So maybe Gov. Abbott should add stops in Madison, Wisconsin or Ann Arbor, Michigan.

"So far he (Biden) has not been listening even to Democratic mayors in big cities across the country. There's got to be some additional pressure put on him. This unfortunately seems to be one of the few ways to get that pressure building on the White House," says Mehlman.

As it stands, sheriffs and elected officials from 28 states will be in McAllen Saturday, to discuss how Biden’s open-borders policies are already affecting them.
