With growing calls for impeachment blaring in Washington, disgraced DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is planning to visit the Texas border on Saturday.
It comes at a time when thousands of illegal immigrants are being released into the U.S. every single day, while border patrol officers are being told not to interfere with their entry.
Mayorkas is planning to meet with the president of Honduras, during a visit to McAllen.
The number of daily encounters at the border is now topping 10,000. There have been 5.8 million encounters since Joe Biden took office.
