World Library Association Offers Alternative to ALA's Woke Agenda

With some states now cutting ties with the American Library Association over its leadership and sexual content it promotes, a new group is stepping in to provide a faith-based alternative.

The World Library Association's slogan is "Your Library, Your Way."

"We will give you information on how you can do things in your library that satisfy the needs of your community and your children, and your librarians that work there, and not the needs of people from Chicago who want to prescribe for you how your library is to be run," says executive director Dan Kleinman.

Kleinman believes librarians, schools and parents will see his group offers a clear path moving forward.

"Because of the American Library Association's 'Library Bill of Rights,' which makes it age discrimination to keep children from anything, so now librarians are making available to them completely inappropriate works," he says.

"Do you want to keep working sexually hostile work environments because of policies from the one organization? Or would you like to work in a place where that's much less likely happen because of our policies?"

Kleinman is establishing the World Library Association as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to combat the financial juggernaut of the ALA.
