Biden's new permanent pandemic preparedness office another abuse of power

We are now a full three years removed from the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a time of staying indoors, being forced to work from home, and generally, not fun time for anyone. If you thought it was over, you would be wrong.

President Joe Biden has now created a new, permanent executive branch office, called the Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy. In short, the office would give Biden and the White House full authority to institute any strategies they see fit should a new pandemic arise.

Jared Woodfill from Conservative Republicans of Texas says this is another level of bureaucracy for Biden to impose his will on something that is just not necessary.

"This administration is doing everything they can to institutionalize the power they have, and they are doing it through the executive branch," he says. "But the Biden administration has never found a government program they do not like. This is just another example of the administration moving forward with something we just do not need."

Since it is a direct off-shoot of the Executive Branch, that means Biden has control of almost anything pandemic related. Which is a farcry from the pandemic, when places like Texas were able to call their shots.

"Inevitably, programs like this trample on state's rights, and rights of people...that includes Texans. It isimportant we have a Governor, and Attorney General, who will stand up to a Biden Administration that is clearly abusing their power," he says.

The office's umbrella falls over not just COVID, but also "MPox," originally known as Monkey Pox, before the lunatic Left decided that was racist, and changed the term in their efforts to try to crate a universal safe space.

Even beyond those two things, this whole thing might be a play on Biden's push to call for a climate crisis.

"This office could be a prerequisite to forcing individuals, companies, and businesses to comply with a certain set of rules regarding climate change, which will never be passed by Congress," he says.

So, this office was born as the roundabout way.

"It is an attempt to put a rule in place he knows would never get past Congress...the Biden administration knows there are so many things they cannot accomplish through Congress regarding climate change," he says.

You could say it is a learned behavior for Biden. After all, he watched his former boss, Barack Obama, do similar things during his presidency.

"He thinks all he has to do is sign an executive order, create another office...and ignore Congress," he says. "He knows that Congress will draw a line in the sand with these extremist programs Biden tries to pass...so, what he cannot do there, he is trying to do through his pen."
