COVID Mandates Still Exist In Texas

Just when you thought vaccine mandates were done here in Texas? You thought wrong!

You may have heard that so, after lawmakers passed SB 29, which will become law on September 1st. It will ban all government Covid mask, vaccine, and shutdown mandates. The only problem is, it does not apply to private entities.

"Texans are right to be angry" said state Representative Brian Harrison, "The Texas legislature failed spectacularly this session in so many critical ways. We've got to get back to small government, individual liberty, and doing the things that matter to Texas so that we do not become California in the next 10 years."

Which is why, rep. Harrison has sent a letter to governor Abbott, urging that full vaccine mandate ban be added to the special session.

"We have just an outpouring of support from doctors, and medical professionals all across the state, supporting the 'Texas Covid Vaccine Freedom Act', which I filed and introduced over a year and a half ago, the same day I was sworn in" Harrison told KTRH, "Without medical freedom, can any Texan truly be free?"

And without a full ban from lawmakers, there are still Texas healthcare workers who can be fired for refusing the shot.
