More Debt Ceiling Scare Tactics

They've done it before, and they are doing it once again. The Democrats, along with their allies in the mainstream media, are using 'scare tactics', to try and force Republicans to increase the debt ceiling.

"This is a scare tactic" said political analyst Ashley Hayack, "The Democrats are creating scare tactics and they will put pressure on Republicans to concede some of these really important changes that would reduce spending, before we increase the debt ceiling. It's a complete and utter joke."

What is not a joke? According to David Harsanyi, senior editor at The Federalist, the GOP plan and the fact that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was able to put it together.

"Really, what Republicans are asking for right now is a return to 2022 spending" Harsanyi told KTRH, "The Dems are making it sound like this is some kind of apocalyptic ask that's going to throw us back into a dystopian world, but really it is not that big of an ask, so I'm pretty sure they're probably going to come to some agreement."

And what is really not funny? The U.S. having over $31 trillion of debt.
