Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming a part of our daily lives, but not everyone is happy about it.
AI is booming. Whether it's on smartphones, tablets, or other devices you might have connected to a Wi-Fi, artificial intelligence is more prominent at home and at work. However, Americans are hesitant to say that's necessarily a good thing for our society. Cybersecurity expert Keith Barthold, with DKBInnovative, says there's good reason to be cautious about new technology.
“Where does that line get crossed where there is infringement of privacy and it’s being used in a way we’re just not aware of,” Barthold asked. “AI is listening. AI is recording data.”
Pew Research found that on balance, a greater share of Americans say they are more concerned than excited about the increased use of AI in daily life.
