Now Even 6 Figure Income Americans Are Living Paycheck To Paycheck

Despite the spin from the White House on inflation and the economy, a new report finds that even workers making $100k a year or more, are also living paycheck to paycheck.

"This is not new, this has been happening" said Richard Rosso, Houston based certified financial planner, "And what I think is going to happen is, you will continue to see the more than half of Americans that earn six figure salaries, that they are living paycheck to paycheck. This is an epidemic, this is something that's going to continue."

At the end of 2022, more than half of those who made $100k or more, said they are now living paycheck to paycheck. That's up almost 10% from a year ago. But it could also be a sign. If you're making six figures and still struggling, maybe you are living beyond your means!

"Yes, there's a level of control of your budget, and living smaller" Rosso told KTRH, "I mean, regardless of what you make, families are having a rough time. Some people are trying to live up to what the Jones' are doing, as opposed to looking inside their own family and making big decisions."

The report also found that 64% of all Americans, 166 million, are living paycheck to paycheck. The inflation rate may not be rising, but wages aren't either, and prices are not coming down.
