Today is the day that Democrats have been waiting for for years. In an unprecedent move that we have never seen in our nation's history, the tax returns for former president Donald Trump have been released to the public.
"It's a flimsy excuse to justify the political targeting of former president Trump" said outgoing Texas congressman, Kevin Brady, "Democrats in congress finally accomplished their goal. This unprecedented action jeopardizes the right of every American, to be protected from political targeting by congress."
And make no mistake, that's all this is. More Trump targeting and persecution from the Democrats, who had to get it one final shot, before Republicans take control of the House next week.
"I just find it so astonishing, and I had a chance to talk to president Trump" said Jeffrey Lord, political commentator with The American Spectator, "Anything and everything that he does, they are going after him. I think it's a huge mistake, and I think the people who are doing this will live to regret it."
It's called sowing and reaping. What the Democrats are doing to Trump, is sure to be used against them in the same way, when Republicans take control of the House next week.
"If it's ok to release the tax returns of private citizen Donald Trump, what about Nancy Pelosi's taxes?" Lord wondered to KTRH, "What about the taxes of everybody on the House Ways and Means Committee, or the Biden family finances. We shouldn't have any complaints."
But we should expect to see and hear, a lot from the left and the media, who will continue to do everything they can, to keep Trump from returning to the White House in 2024.
