A Growing Call For New GOP Leadership

More fallout from the Republicans flameout in the November midterms. There is a growing number of GOP leaders who feel it might be time for a change in leadership atop the RNC.

"There are a growing number of RNC Committee men and women, 168 member that will pick the next RNC Chair, that are beginning to talk among themselves" says John Solomon, founder and reporter with Just The News, "Now the question is, who's it going to be?"

It's been a rough roll for current RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel who raised a new record amount for last months midterms. But, she is also sitting on 3 consecutive election losses, in 2018, 2020, and here in 2022.

"That record has people looking at the RNC, saying listen, Ronna McDaniel has raised a ton of money, but if we don't win in 3 straight we have to break the cycle" Solomon told KTRH, "And that starts with just making a leadership change. It would be like the New York Yankees missing the playoffs for 3 straight years, there would be a change."

Change is inevitable, with the next RNC Convention set for early 2024 in Milwaukee. Just this week, multiple people have announced that they plan to challenge McDaniel.
