This is the first weekend Houston Ballet brings back Stanton Welch’s celebrated production, The Nutcracker at Wortham Theater Center. It opened last night.
The show will run through December 27.
This season marks the sixth presentation of Welch’s fantastic reimagining of the timeless classic, with awe-inspiring choreography set to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s iconic score and magnificent scenery by acclaimed British designer Tim Goodchild.
