How Lame Duck Dems Will Try To Cram Through Their Pet Projects

Less than two weeks to go until the November midterms, and it's looking more and more likely that the Democrats are only going to have two months, before they lose their power.

With Republicans set to take control of Congress, the desperate Dems are already planning on how many of their pet projects they can ram through before the end of the year.

"The Democrats see it coming" said political strategist Bill Miller, "So, they probably are thinking if there is something we can do before we leave office, let's think through how do we do that? And can we pull it off."

Topping the list, will be continued spending to avoid a government shutdown on December 16th. The Dems are also looking at last minute laws to protect gay marriage rights, and also to nationalize abortions. Plus, they hope to pass a massive defense spending package, which would be used for many other agenda items, other than the military.

"They may test the water" Miller told KTRH, "But talk is cheap, this is politics. You can talk about a vote on same sex marriage, or abortion, or anything under the sun that you choose to, but the question is do you have the votes to pass it? Chuck Schumer is going to say what Democrats want to hear."

But the reality, he will likely -not- have the votes. And then there's Joe Biden's executive orders.
