Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot hasn't been happy with Texas Governor Greg Abbott. She called his program to send buses to her city, New York City., and Washington, DC racist.
But, if you think that Governor Abbott was rattled by that, think again.
The Governor joined Houston's Morning News on Friday, and told KTRH Lightfoot's reaction just exposed her for the hypocrite she and other liberals are when it comes to illegal immigration.
"We're dealing with thousands of illegals crossing out border every day. And when Chicago gets a trickle, 75 of them, they cannot seem to handle it," Abbott told Jimmy Barrett and Shara Fryer.
Lightfoot isn't alone in calling out Abbott. He's gotten the same treatment from New York City's Eric Adams and D.C.'s Muriel Bowser.
"These northern mayors try to virtue signal by calling themselves sanctuary cities, but when they have to walk the walk they cannot handle it," Abbott said.
