While the Democrats continue to celebrate the passing of the so called 'Inflation Reduction Act', which has been confirmed not true by the CBO, the real truth about what -is- in the massive tax and spend bill, is finally starting to make it's way to light.
"What this bill does, this misnamed 'Inflation Reduction Act', is it pours billions and billions of federal subsidies into producing more wind and solar" said Chuck DeVore, V.P. with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, "And as a result, it pushes out our reliable coal and natural gas, and so as a result our grid is going to become increasingly unstable in the years ahead."
What does that mean? The Biden administration and the Democrats want to ramp up the use of green energy, even though renewable, is unreliable.
"As the grid has more and more wind and solar on it, it will become less and less reliable" DeVore told KTRH, "And that's going to have consequences, in so far as people's quality of life, where your air conditioning goes out more frequently, and your lights go out. That's something I don't think Americans fully comprehend, that that's what we're facing."
And this is not just in blue states like California. The ultimate goal here for the Democrats, like everything else, is a federal takeover of our electric grid, even here in Texas.
"What we're likely to see here in Texas is, we're going to see electricity prices continue to go up because there's too much money to be made by taking these federal subsidies, and putting in more wind and solar" noted DeVore, "It's just irresistible, there's billions and billions of dollars to be made here."
It truly is a 'green new deal'. A lot of green, from more taxes.
