Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is applauding a judge's Friday afternoon decision to keep Title 42 in place for the time being.
Paxton said the Trump-era border policy is one of the last remaining protections Texas has from what he called a deluge of illegals coming across the border.
Paxton said he was glad for Texas and for our nation that it will remain in place.
Had the judge's injunction been lifted, the Biden administration was expected to end Title 42 on Monday.
