The FAA deadline to submit their environmental assessment of the Space X Starship program is being delayed.
The due date was last Friday, but the Federal Aviation Administration has asked for an extension.
In the filing the FAA said Space X has made a number of changes since first submitting their application, and say they are reviewing public comments, of which they’ve received 18,000.
The Starship rocket, intended to send man to the moon and Mars and elsewhere, has 41 engines and will launch from Boca Chica.
Musk has said if the FAA doesn’t give him approval to launch out of Texas he will pack up and move the company to Florida.
The new deadline is May 31.
