A new Buc-ee's is always exciting...clean bathrooms, plenty of gas pumps, Beaver Nuggets, etc. A popular stop on Houston to San Antonio road trips, Luling has had a Buc-ee's since 2001, but according KVUE, the town is about to get an even bigger one.
They quote the Austin Business Journal in reporting that the Caldwell County Commissioners Court voted unanimously on April 12 to approve a Chapter 381 incentives agreement that would aid Buc-ee's LTD. in building a "much larger store in the area.
Neither Buc-ee's nor Caldwell County provided any additional info on the project, but speculation has the new Buc-ee's going in right next to their original Luling location.
