It has become America's dirty little secret. Reverse racism.
In addition to their unwavering support of Joe Biden and the Democrats, the mainstream media activists are at it again. The latest? Hiding the race of murderers - but only if they are not white.
"There's been a major push in newsrooms across the country, particularly in the wake of the death of George Floyd to prioritize what they understand as this idea of racial justice" said writer Charles Fein Lehman, who is also a fellow with Manhattan Institute, "And this has infected crime coverage much like everything else."
And the numbers don't lie. Their group pulled data from hundreds of stories that showed that 'white' offenders appeared 3x more than 'black' offenders.
The bottom line is, this is all part of the 'racial reckoning' that the left has passed along to their soldiers in the mainstream media.
"You get a case like the Brooklyn subway shooter, whose black nationalism inspired in him profound bigotry towards white people, Jewish people, Hispanics , Asians, and even some fellow black people" Lehman told KTRH, "His race was conspicuously omitted across the board, New York Times, ABC, Reuters, all of these major outlets just avoided mentioning what this guys race was."
Make no mistake, it was on purpose.
"The justification for this is that newspapers believe that they are reinforcing stereotypes about black people and Hispanic people, when they report on crimes committed by black people, and Hispanic people" Lehman said.
Yes, even newsrooms are now 'woke'.
