More bad numbers for Joe Biden. A recently released ABC News poll shows that Biden's approval rating is at a career low 37%.
"I am surprised" said Red State writer Bonchie, "In this poll that ABC News released, Biden is at 30% with independent voters. That's shocking to me, I really did not think he could go this low. I figured mid-40's, maybe low-40's might be his floor, but it's clear now that he doesn't have a floor."
As bad as those numbers are, in all likelihood they are going to get even worse.
"I do think that he could drop further" Bonchie told KTRH, "This poll, which made a lot of news in the last few days, was taken before Russia invaded Ukraine, and so I expect to get worse."
Even worse for Biden, and his fellow Democrats, as we get closer to the November midterms and the Republican 'red wave'.
"It could be a much bigger wave overall, and I think that is what is going to happen" Bonchie said, "I cannot imagine anything that could change in the next several months that is going to save the Democrats. I think they kind of made their bed, and now they to have to lie in it."
A bed that even the mainstream media is now having a hard time trying to cover up.
"Of course the media is always going to be biased, they're not going to change" Bonchie noted, "But you are seeing a shift because of the blunders, where they're being a little more critical of Joe Biden's administration because of how bad he's screwed things up. You're starting to see even some cracks in the wall of his firewall with the media."
