La Porte Public Works crews are on the job right now. They are actively working to fix at least three water main breaks. The city's OEM (Office of Emergency Management) saying that as crews are working, there's a chance your home could be out of water. Some areas may need to have their water shut off temporarily.
They ask you, if your home's water is shut off, to please call the city [281-471-3811] and report your outage and give your address.
OEM's tweet: "We appreciate your understanding and patience while crews work to resolve the situation,"
They are working to find the cause for the breaks. So far, no word on how long it will take to make all the necessary repairs.
