This afternoon (1-14-2023) a biplane with 2 aboard crashed in Conroe. Both the pilot and passenger were injured (non-life threatening) and taken to Conroe HCA. No other people near the site were injured.
The pilot told Conroe Police that the plane was running out of gas, so he tried to land it in an open field. The trouble came when the plane clipped a power line and a few trees.
Texas DPS and an Investigator with the FAA responded and took over the scene.
