Over a million parade watchers are expected so try to lessen the traffic congestion by
-Carpooling. Find a Parking Garage Space and walk to the Parade Site
-Use a rideshare vendor. Your driver will know where to drop off and pick up.

Personal Suggestions:

- Pack drinks to stay hydrated. You're going to be there a while.
- Bring snacks for your kids (and yourself as well!)
- To help ease congestion in and around downtown, METRO is free all day on Monday.
- Power up your mobile phone before you get to the parade.
- Finding a spot along the Smith Street Parade Route away from the parade start will insure you can see everything you want to!

These school districts and schools and universities are not holding classes on Monday. The list could still be growing, so check your school's website tomorrow.
