The battle over abortion rights took the spotlight Sunday at Lakewood Church as activists interrupted the morning service.

“It’s my body, my choice,” protestors yelled. “I have a choice!”

The protestors said they were members of the organization Rise Up Abortion Rights, which has called for the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold Roe v. Wade. A recently leaked draft opinion suggested that the court could possibly overturn the 1973 ruling.

A video posted by the organization shows the moment the protest began with Pastor Joel Osteen speaking over them saying, “In Jesus name!”

The protesters were escorted from the church, and they continued to chant outside.

Although the procedure is legal in Texas, the state has one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country, banning it after about six weeks of pregnancy.
