Houston police investigating possible road rage shooting

A gunman is being sought by Houston police after a man was shot in his car as he drove near the intersection of Bissonnet and South Dairy Ashford about 11 p.m. Thursday.

The 21-year-old victim was able to drive to a Walgreens where he called 911 to report he had been shot several times in the stomach. He was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators say it appears someone opened fire on the victim's car after an altercation of some sort on the road. The Dodge Charger was riddled with bullet holes.

Police say the shooting may be tied to road rage. So far, no arrests have been made.
