Two teens killed in separate shootings in Houston

It was another violent night in the city of Houston. There were four shootings overnight. Two of them were deadly.

An investigation is underway after a teen was fatally shot while driving on the North Loop just before 1AM.

According to police, a male teen driving a black Dodge vehicle was shot in the back by someone in a black SUV while traveling westbound on the North Loop.

A juvenile passenger who police said is also believed to be 16 did not have any injuries. Right now, police said it is unknown if this shooting was gang-related or road rage. Investigators said most of the rounds were on the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle.

Then there was the other deadly shooting.  Houston police say this happened last night right before 6 o'clock near West Little York Road and Easter Street. Police said they found one victim, approximately 15 or 16 years old, who had been shot at a convenience store. A second teenager with a gunshot wound was in front of a home on the street just north of that location..

Police said both teens were in the parking lot of the convenience store when there was some kind of altercation between several people and several shots were fired.
