Cop Killer Found in Mexico

The suspect in the Sunday morning murder of Harris County Precinct Five Constable Corporal Charles Galloway is arrested in Mexico.

Oscar Rosales was captured in a joint operation by the Gulf Coast Task Force and Mexican officials, his identity verified by fingerprints.

The U.S. Marshall’s Office says Rosales was found in Ciudad Acuna in Mexico near Del Rio, Texas.

Officials are working on an extradition. Corporal Galloway was shot and killed Sunday during a Southwest Houston traffic stop.

Rosales’ common-law wife, Reina Pereira-Marquez, and her brother Henri Mauricio Pereira-Marquez, were found cleaning the vehicle Rosales had been driving Sunday night at a Southwest Houston apartment complex and have been charged with tampering/fabricating evidence.

Rosales is charged with capital murder.
