Houston Braces For Strong Cold Front

Houston is bracing for a strong cold front to come through tomorrow morning. Do you notice how this keeps happening on weekends?

Friday's high is 73 degrees, but by tomorrow morning, temperatures will crash into the upper 30's. It's the wind chill, just like last weekend, that will get you.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. this afternoon, and that's when you will start to fill the cold front arrive, according to the National Weather Service. Remember that no matter how cold it feels to people and animals, plans and pipes don't feel a wind chill and are affecting only by the surface temperature.

This is a good weekend to do laundry and wash your shorts and t-shirt because by Tuesday, the high will be back in the 70s.
