Vehicle accidents have cost Texas drivers a lot of money in 2021. Even if you're well insured, deductibles can be pricey and the loss of time can be costly. AAA Texas says whether your accident was unavoidable to not - it's not gong to be cheap. Joshua Zuber of AAA Texas lists the most common. "Rear-end Collisions and Fender Benders. Zuber continues: "Coming in a Number Two: Collisions caused by vehicles backing up cost more than $3400. Avoid short-cuts such as cutting through parking lot lanes and empty parking spots. Watch out for other vehicles that are backing up and pedestrians as well. Zuber says to back up slowly and check your surroundings constantly. "
Number 3 may surprise you. Zuber says, "Hail Damage. That can average costing you about $5700." He says ducking into a garage or putting a blanket or two over the top and hood can help.
Driving defensively, being extra careful in busy times on roads and parking areas will end your year much more happily.
