Roe v. Wade Takes Center Stage This Week

Today is the big day for conservatives, and those who support pro-life. The Supreme Court will finally hear oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the Mississippi case that could lead to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

"I have been involved in the pro-life movement for 30 years, and I have never been as excited and optimistic as I am now" said Dr. Joe Pojman with the Texas Alliance for Life.

The attorneys for both sides will present their cases in an empty courtroom for about an hour, with only the lawyers and the 9 Supreme Court Justices. The Court is then expected to release it's opinion most likely in June of next year.

"There are several reasons I'm extremely optimistic" Dr. Pojman told KTRH, "The main reason is, we believe that there are 5 Justices on the Supreme Court who are willing to take a fresh look at the terrible Roe v. Wade precedent sent down 48 years ago, and possibly overturn it."

The eyes of the nation will be watching, and waiting.
