Migrant Camps Growing Amid Concern Over Biden’s Border Policies

Governor Greg Abbott is beefing up the southern border in preparation for another massive migrant caravan.

Abbott says he's sending thousands of state troopers and national guard members south. It's part of Operation Lone Star, a state effort to stop the flow of illegal drugs and migrants into the country. However, just on the other side of the border, in Mexico, large camps, like the recently dispersed one near Del Rio, are forming. President Biden has promised to work with Mexico to slow the flow of illegal drugs and migrants into the United States. However, Bob Price, with Breitbart Texas, says it’s Biden’s policies that are creating confusion.

“On one hand they say the border is closed,” Price said. “But when people get into the country illegally, they’re released into the country, and so the effect is people believe, and rightfully so, the border is wide open.”

He says that policy has resulted in thousands being warehoused in inhumane conditions.

“Here’s the inconsistency: Biden will release some family units into the United States and send others back to Mexico,” Price explained. “There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Some of it depends on which border sector you’re trying to cross into.”
