Astros Shut Out in Game Three

The Astros struggled to find their groove thing in Game 3 of the 2021 World Series in Atlanta last night, according to Manager Dusty Baker.

“We didn’t center too many balls tonight,” he said in the post-game press conference. “We threatened a couple times and didn’t get the two-out RBI hits that we had gotten before.”

The Braves won 2-0 Friday night.

Braves’ pitcher Ian Anderson threw five no-hit scoreless innings, walking three and striking out four.

For the Astros, pitcher Luis Garcia got the loss allowing only one run.

Salvation for the Astros came in the 8th inning when Aledmys Diaz who got a hit and prevented a no-hitter.

Game 5 is Saturday night. The pregame broadcast begins at 5:30 on Sports Talk 790, and KTRH will pick up the action beginning at 7.
