Major League Baseball is back on the big stage in Atlanta this weekend.
Over the summer, the woke left pushed MLB to pull the All-Star game from Atlanta, costing local minority owned businesses millions of dollars. Led by Stacey Abrams, the Democrats cried foul over the new Georgia integrity laws that were passed, similar to the new laws we have here in Texas. The All-Star game was moved to Colorado, where like Joe Biden's home state of Delaware, the voting restrictions are actually worse than they are in Georgia, and Texas. But don't let facts and truth get in the way of a political narrative.
"Their effort from earlier this year totally backfired" said Newsmax reporter Marisa Herman, noting the great irony that Georgia and Texas, 2 of the red states that have been targeted the most by the left, are now being rewarded with the World Series.
For the record, there hasn't been a word from the left so far. After the first 2 games were played in Houston, games 3,4, and 5 will be played this weekend in Atlanta. Plus, as an added bonus, former president Donald Trump will be in attendance tomorrow night (Saturday) for game 4.
"Oh boy, that will be interesting" Herman told KTRH, "One of the left's biggest complaints was over showing an idea when you go to vote, and the funny thing is, if you have a ticket at will call, you most certainly have to show your idea to pick it up."
