The Democrat divide continues.
It is rare, and it is new. Usually the Democrats fight against Republicans, and if they have disagreements amongst themselves, they always come together for the sake of the party, and the party line.
But not this time. This is different. "What we are seeing right now is a divide between the woke progressives, and the liberal progressives" said Terry Schilling, president of American Principles Project, "They both want to spend trillions of dollars that we don't have, and they want to spend it yesterday."
Basically, the so called 'moderates' realize that $3.5 trillion, on top of what has already been spent, is way too much. Especially with the damage the Biden administration has done to our economy with 30-year high inflation, and soaring gas prices. Meanwhile, the progressives led by AOC, could care less about the future, or our country. They want all of the $3.5 trillion for their green new deal.
"These woke progressives are radicalized, they are extreme, they don't believe in compromise, and they don't believe in meeting in the middle" Schilling told KTRH, "They want what they want, and they want it now."
The question now is, will they get it? The Democrats have set a deadline for the end of the month. Either way, it's not a good look. "I believe this whole thing could blow up big time in the Democrats faces" Schilling said, "These voters want something done, and they definitely don't want the package that is being pushed by these woke progressives."
The Democrats are on the clock.
