No Matter What The Left Says – Inflation Is A Tax

Not wanting to be held accountable for Joe Biden's campaign promise of not raising taxes on anyone making less than $400k, the Biden administration has moved on to new messaging.

The massive $3.5 trillion (it will actually be close to $6 trillion) 'human infrastructure' bill will not cost anything. Zero.

"This is the same man who told us he graduated with 3 degrees, when he really only graduated with one" said the well versed E.J. Antoni of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, "He told us that he had a full academic scholarship, when he only had a partial academic scholarship. Numbers have not exactly been Joe Biden's strong suit for quite a long time."

The good news for Biden, even though the spending has been widely criticized, even within the Democrat party, the President doesn't take questions. Instead, White House press secretary Jen Psaki is able to push back saying last week that it is "unfair and absurd" to suggest that big companies would raise prices to counter higher taxes.

"Responses like that are very common among people who have never worked in the private sector" Antoni told KTRH, "People who have worked in government their entire lives, and unfortunately don't understand how real private business actually functions."

The reality is, inflation is already at a near record high. The Democrats spending bill will just make that much worse. And even if it is not officially called a 'tax increase', Antoni points out that inflation is a tax. "It's not a tax you actually have to vote for, but it is still ultimately a tax."

So as the wait continues, with Nancy Pelosi picking Halloween as the day to try and pass this scary bill, Antoni says it's a trick without a treat. "It is hard to understate the amount of damage this would do to our country, this would be a catastrophe."

Truly, a lose-lose situation for all of us.
